Meet Janina,
Founder & Cake ArTist

Janina McCue founded Red Poppy Cakery in 2019 with a vision she had since she was 14 to spread joy through custom cakes and desserts. After years of baking across New England and creating cakes for friends and family, she brought her dream to life in Waterbury, Vermont.

Today, Red Poppy Cakery specializes in made to order cakes, cupcakes, and dessert catering for weddings and celebrations, along with baking and cooking workshops for all ages. Whether you're planning a once in a lifetime event or a fun night in the kitchen, Janina and her team are here to make it special with beautifully crafted desserts and hands on experiences.
